The UCSF Craniofacial Center team provides comprehensive and fully coordinated cleft and craniofacial care. Our team of dedicated specialists operates according to American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA) standards emphasizing ongoing multidisciplinary team care for all cleft and craniofacial patients. The core UCSF Craniofacial Center team sees patients weekly as a group and determines ongoing care.

"When we were told at our 20-week ultrasound that our little boy would have a bilateral cleft lip and palate and potentially other issues, our first call was to the craniofacial team at UCSF. During prenatal visits, the team prepared us for what was to come and within days of his birth began treatment. What they do isn't just about "fixing" a problem. Instead, they work with the entire family to address the myriad challenges that can span a lifetime. They are now a part of our family."
